ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Wiener Sängerknaben Konzertsaal Betriebs GmbH is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Barrier-Free Access to the Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Bodies (Web Accessibility Act – WZG, Federal Law Gazette I No. 59/2019 as amended).
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.muth.at.
STATUS OF COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and the European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03), due to the non-compliances listed below.
NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
- Non-compliance with accessibility regulations
- Focus and keyboard navigation
- Interactive elements such as menu items, filter and slideshow buttons, and the Quick-Buy container are not fully accessible via keyboard or lack a clearly visible focus indicator (WCAG 2.1.1, 2.4.3, 2.4.7). We are working to gradually eliminate these barriers where technically and organizationally feasible.
- The tab order on several pages (e.g., homepage, calendar, media library) is not consistently logical. We are working to improve navigation logic.
- Contrast issues
- Text elements in the header and footer, as well as menu links, have insufficient color contrast (WCAG 1.4.3). We are working to optimize color contrasts.
- Missing alternative text and ARIA labels
Some graphics (e.g., partner logos) and buttons/links (e.g., “Read more,” “Back to top,” social media links) lack descriptive labels or ARIA tags (WCAG 1.1.1, 4.1.2). We are working to add meaningful alternative text and semantic markup. - Multimedia content
– Videos in the media library do not consistently provide subtitles or transcripts. Thus, criteria 1.2.2 and 1.2.3 are not met. We are working to provide subtitles and transcripts. - Forms
Input fields such as the newsletter form or the search field in the calendar are not sufficiently labeled (WCAG 1.3.1, 4.1.2). We are working to improve screen reader compatibility. - Semantic structure
Several pages use semantically incorrect HTML tags (e.g., missing <header> or <footer>), and there are empty heading levels (e.g., on the contact page) (WCAG 1.3.1). We are working to structure our HTML code semantically correctly.
- Content not covered by applicable legislation
Some older PDF and Office documents (e.g., annual reports) are not accessible (§ 2 para 3 lit a WZG), due to missing tags or structural information.
Live broadcasts and older media content may not meet accessibility standards as per § 2 para 3 lit b and c WZG.
CREATION OF THIS ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
This statement was created on 27 June 2025.
The assessment of the website was conducted through internal evaluation using manual testing and automated tools such as NVDA screen reader, WAVE tool, and Google Chrome developer tools. Various page types were tested (homepage, program, media library, etc.).
