Mozart in my hands IX
The Junge Philharmonie Wien and international talents present Mozart's piano concertos
In the cycle “Mozart in my hands”, the MuTh and the Junge Philharmonie Wien place all of Mozart’s piano concertos in the hands of promising pianists under the direction of Michael Lessky.
For the season finale of the cycle, the concerto in C major, K. 246, composed in 1776 while still in Salzburg, will be contrasted with the one in B-flat major, K. 595, which Mozart completed in Vienna in early 1791. In addition, the well-known soprano Chen Reiss will perform the concert aria “Nehmt meinen Dank, ihr holden Gönner!” and the wonderful rondo – with obbligato piano! – “Ch’io mi scordi di te”.
