Mozart & Gulda with Batik in between
A musical journey, with Friedrich Gulda as guide

arrow Tickets

“For Friedrich Gulda, Mozart was the ‘World Champion’. In fact, he called himself ‘the grand master’. And I had the privilege of studying with him.” In gratitude to his great idol and mentor Friedrich Gulda, Roland Batik offers up a musical testament, creating all kinds of associations and building connections that stretch from the Romantic to the Blues. “He was of course a true interpreter of Mozart, and he also pointed me toward Jazz and encouraged me to create my own compositions, so that it all became a beautiful, coherent whole.”

Musical enthusiasm and sophistication, courtesy of Mozart, Gulda and Batik!
