Weeping, but not for love alone: Minnesang and Minstrels
with Timna Brauer and the Vienna Tango Quintet

* abgespielt

A musical journey embracing poetry, passion and fun. After a long time exploring cultures both familiar and foreign, Timna Brauer has been investigating the art of the minstrel, uncovering love stories of the wildest kind, which she conveys in this concert with great passion. Her collection includes works by Kurt Weill, Georg Kreisler and Bela Koreny, as well as sentimental songs penned by Zarah Leander. The songs have been orchestrated with masterly skill by Ronen Nissan. His polished arrangements straddle a broad range of musical styles. Nissan also leads the multi-national Vienna Tango Quintet, who provide the evening’s accompaniment.
