Singin‘ in the MuTh 1
The Vienna Boys' Choir in the MuTh
This new cycle — “Singin‘ in the MuTh – 1001 songs” — comprises four concerts in which the Vienna Boys’ Choir perform songs collected from a wide variety of regions and cultures. And the audience is encouraged to sing along heartily with many of them. Singing is best done together. The more who sing, the better it is!
No choir has journeyed so far or so often as the Vienna Boys’ Choir. The globetrotting youngsters’ travels go right back to the days when they accompanied the Emperor Maximilian. And over the last hundred years they have undertaken more than a thousand tours.
Their travels have taken them to 98 countries. And they have taken with them their songs: expressive, merry, sensitive, beautiful songs. Singing is a form of cultural exchange. And a song says more than a thousand words: a song is a gift.
Recommended for families with children aged eight and over.
