Wolfram Berger and the writer in the Atelier
Two tables. Two chairs. And a total of 86 roles. Wolfram Berger tackles 85 of these, as well as the part of the Chorus. Philipp Mosetter has just one part; but he also has to take care of the stage directions and – when necessary – describe the scene on the stage.
Werner, a small, unknown writer, has trouble with his heart. His cardiologist tells him it’s nothing serious. But the Devil knows better. Werner has just two days left – and the Devil shows him the place that awaits him in Writers’ Hell. Naturally enough, Werner takes to his heels. He tries to get away from the Devil and his personal Hell. In the process he encounters the agents of reality along with some fellow runaways, including three refugees from England. Werner even tries to take on a completely different life. But in the end he makes a mistake – a small, but very human error. So finally the Devil takes him after all.
