A Midsummer Night’s Dream
by William Shakespeare

* abgespielt

What could be more magical than a theatrical comedy set in an enchanted forest? Young lovers, merry workmen, fairies and sprites all come together on the shortest night of the year …

The play is performed by the Wiener Kindertheater ensemble, comprising over a hundred children. In this Shakespearean classic, dreams and reality blur together: fairies make the impossible possible; great rulers believe in the power of love, and the wonderful Titania falls in love with an ass. Shakespeare’s wondrous comedy has music, dance and song, and a plot that revolves around love and passion, power and jealousy, playfulness and confusion.
