Allein und einzig, #Beethoven (Unique and alone)
Chamber music concert featuring members of the Vienna Philharmonic

He wished for fellowship between all mankind. But as an individual, he found the company of others difficult. And then, at barely 25 years of age, the composer Ludwig van Beethoven noticed: “My hearing is failing!” Now, 250 years after his birth, his story moves us still. And his music remains timeless and unique. A modern-day composer, Thomas Wally, explains to the audience how contemporary composers work. An interpreter provides simultaneous translation into sign language.
