“Im (kleinen) weissen Rössl” (At the [little] White Horse Inn) is an abridged version of the famous operetta “Im weissen Rössl”. It was arranged by Alexander Kuchinka , the well-known director pianist and actor, as a commission from the St. Gilgen children’s music festival. All the favourite songs from the weissen Rössl are here, with the charming head waiter Leopold (played by Alexander Kuchinka) narrating the events that link them. As well as Sigismund, Christoph Wagner-Trenkwitz plays a further two characters
– the Kaiser and Giesecke. Cornelia Horak is the landlady of the Rössl and Klärchen.
