Lively brass music at its best / Benefit concert organised by the Vienna Marc Aurel Lions Club

Note: Due to COVID-19 and the associated pandemic control measures, we regret that this event is being rescheduled. As soon as the rescheduled date is confirmed, we will let you know.

BAFF is a musical group with its roots in the Weinviertel region. The band comprises seven musicians. Over ten years ago they decided they would play brass music of a very particular kind. For their concert at MuTh, the five brass players, drummer and bassist are joined by a singer.

The musicians describe their unconventional sound very simply as “heavy blosmurl”. And you can hear that style in their performances of songs like “Valerie”, “An Spritza”, “Everytime”, “Fiesta”, “Hip Teens”, “I’m a Believer”, “Knock on Wood” and “Fürstenfeld”.

Melodies from the world of film, groovy classics and disco hits
