Beethoven – Wolf – Brahms
Steude Quartet in the MuTh

* abgespielt

The Steude Quartet resume performing, here at MuTh! This season, enjoy the sound of Viennese strings at their finest with the Steude Quartet, back performing together after a creative break.

The Steude Quartet was founded in 2002 to carry forward the long tradition of string quartets formed from the ranks of the Vienna Philharmonic. These chamber musicians combine the best of both worlds. They have extensive experience of orchestral playing, with an enormous repertoire containing more than 60 operas and symphonic works; and, at the same time, the chamber format promotes a focus on the core essentials of the music played. This interaction creates a fruitful, exciting dialogue, leading in turn to a continuous growth in their repertoire. Come along, and be carried away by the beguiling sounds of timeless beauty and elegance!
