Big Fat Clarinet Mob
Schorny in the MuTh

* abgespielt

Flash mobs can be found anywhere. But only at MuTh will you get to hear the Clarinet Mob! Matthias Schorn takes on the role of musical director. What, and especially who, he puts together on stage, is quite remarkable. They deserve to be seen — and, even more, heard! Come and hear the Vienna Clarinet Connection, the Vienna Reed Quintet, the Woody Black 4, Klak, Mocatheca, Phoen, plus students from the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK).

With such a multiplicity of clarinet talents and sounds, it’s just as well that Matthias Schorn doesn’t have to do everything himself! The Vienna Philharmonic soloist is supported by jazz enthusiast Frank Hoffmann, who contributes some enlightening texts.

Works by Steve Reich, Balduin Sulzer, Viola Falb, Helmut Hödl, and others (to be announced).
