Brahms + Stars of the Wiener Staatsoper
Gottlieb Wallisch in the MuTh

* abgespielt

This season Gottlieb Wallisch has succeeded in signing up some rather special musical partners for his “Brahms +” cycle: the Minetti Quartet, four top-flight soloists from the Wiener Staatsoper, as well as pianist Pierre Doueihi. Together, over two evening concerts, they are bringing to the MuTh stage major works by great composers: Johannes Brahms, who made Vienna his home, Robert Schumann and Felix Mendelssohn. A must for all who love the music of the High Romantic!

Felix Mendelssohn: Three Fantasies (caprices) for piano, Op. 16
Johannes Brahms: “Liebeslieder Waltzes” for piano duet and voices, Op. 52
Robert Schumann: Scenes from Childhood, Op. 15
Johannes Brahms: Neue Liebeslieder Waltzes for piano duet and voices, Op. 65
