The tale of Chun Hyang is Korea’s best-loved story. It dates back to around 1800, and tells of the love between Chun Hyang, the daughter of a Kisaeng (a Korean Geisha), and the young nobleman Mong Ryong.
BJ Opera present this traditional story as a piece of modern musical theatre. The ensemble is comprised of classical opera singers from both Austria and Korea.
