The Adamas Quartet, Judith Ferstl and Judith Schwarz join Helmut Jasbar for an evening which promises good music and more. “There must be a reason why snow takes the form of a hexagonal star”. So stated the astronomer Johannes Kepler in his1611 tract “Über den sechseckigen Schnee” (On the hexagonal form of snow), writing with all the enthusiasm of a scientist who has identified a secret that has yet to be unlocked. Above all else, he believed that there was an overarching harmony to Creation, and he believed in human rationality, which he saw as a gift from God. He could not have guessed that the generations that followed him would change the world out of all recognition in a relatively short period of time.
