The MuTh Quarter Hour with Volkhard Steude
and Elke Hesse / Beethoven forever

* abgespielt

Everyone is paying their respects to Beethoven this year! But it is a particular delight when maestros of musical interpretation such as violinist Volkhard Steude and pianist Almut Preuss-Niemeyer decide to wish the great composer a happy 250th. Beethoven’s First and Tenth violin sonatas feature on the programme of their 23rd November concert, interspersed with pieces by Weil, Gershwin, Williams and Kreisler. Prior to the concert you can hear Volkhard Steude exploring what lies at the centre of our continuing fascination with Beethoven in the MuTh Quarter Hour with Elke Hesse.

The MuTh Quarter Hour is broadcast live, and can be seen at as well as on Facebook and YouTube.
