Oratorio by Felix Mendelssohn Opus 70 /A Vienna Volksoper/ Vienna Boys' Choir/ MuTh co-production

* abgespielt

The Vienna Boys’ Choir’s Chorus Juventus takes on one of the most famous oratorios in the history of music. Mendelssohn’s work has become the embodiment of Romantic musical language. In 1846, a year before his death, the young composer performed his latest work in England, to great acclaim. The powerful story of the prophet Elias finds its expression here in stirring arias and magnificent choruses.

The Vienna Volksoper Orchestra performs with solo singers from the Vienna Volksoper and the Vienna Boys’ Choir.
