A documentary film with Brother David Steindl-Rast and others, who encourage us along the path of “mindul, grateful living”

Mindul, grateful living is not a destination, but a lifelong journey. The journey’s aim is to preserve one’s trust in life despite all the barriers and borders encountered on the way. In this film, made by Hans Fuchs and Brigitte Kwizda-Gredler, people of various ages – some with relligious affiliations, some with none – invite us into their lives and share what is in their hearts. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and they all have a gift for enabling us to experience the essence of their lives – and to amaze us. The “Grateful living” project that was held in MuTh on 15th May 2014, with the Vienna Boys’ Choir and Brother David Steindl-Rast, serves as both the starting point of the film and a thread which runs thoughout it.

“I want to make you aware: if you see this film, it might change your life”. Father Johannes Pausch, Prior, Gut Aich Priory, St. Gilgen
