Friday Afternoons 2016
Concert by the Vienna Boys' Choir / A Vienna Boys' Choir/Mondial production

* abgespielt

Our “Friday Afternoons” series, named after Benjamin Britten’s gently ironic song cycle, has been running since 2012. Four choirs take turns to show off their latest repertoire. Singing songs from the medieval to the modern, sometimes a capella, sometimes accompanied by piano or orchestra or by their own instrumental playing, the choirs demonstrate their versatility with energy and charm. At the same time, our Friday Afternoons concerts offer an opportunity to see the Vienna Boys’ Choir working on their craft. It’s a chance to hear how voices develop, and how a choir’s sound grows out of those individual voices, all at very close quarters.

The MuTh concert hall’s architecture and acoustic guarantee you an unforgettable experience. The audience are seated right in the middle of the music-making, and the choristers’ enthusiasm is highly contagious. There’s no better way to get the weekend started!
