GOD’S JESTER – On the life of St Francis of Assisi
An oratorio by Tove Lind and Tommy Jervidal / The Vienna Youth Choir / a production by the Austro-Danish Society and Musikschule Wien

On 25th May 2013, the first performance of this oratorio to be held in the German-speaking world will take place here at MuTh, the Vienna Boys’ Choir Concert Hall.

The oratorio, written by the two Danes Tove Lind and Tommy Jervidal, tells the story of Francis of Assisi. Living free as a bird and with the whole world as his pulpit, he followed a very special way of life in the service of God, and became known as “God’s jester”.

The world premiere took place in the Musikhus in Arhus, Denmark on 2nd November 2010.
