History of Tango
Astor Piazzolla meets Modern Dance

* abgespielt

Tango for all the senses! Dancer and choreographer Cornelia Voglmayr translates the exhilarating sounds of Astor Piazzolla into physical form. Through her own, personal language of dance, she gives visual expression to the playing of the two pianists, Eduard and Johannes Kutrowatz. The interplay between contemporary dance and a conventional concert sparks an energy, a force which is intensified through the use of sound, light and multimedia effects. The whole combines to create a unique multi-sensory experience.

You can hear — and see — highlights of Piazzolla’s work including Libertango, Adios Nonino, Michelangelo, Escualo, and, of course, the History of Tango!
