JKO plays Mozart
The JungeKünsteOrchester directed by Tobias Treitner - forging their own way through the classics

* abgespielt

Founded in 2018, the JungeKünsteOrchester (JKO) have a clear objective: “Spreading enthusiasm for classical music”. To follow on from their spirited debut in February, the young musicians, performing under conductor Tobias Treitner, present three works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: the KV 364 Sinfonia Concertante, the KV 314 Oboe Concerto and the Symphony No. 40 in G minor, KV 550. They will also perform a totally new concert overture, as an original introductory piece. This has been composed by Tobias Treitner himself, and is intended to bridge the present day world and the sharp ingenuity of Mozart’s musical language. Or, in the words of the composer: “Music from the 18th century, given fresh impetus from the year 2019”.
