Justus Neumann in: Häuptling Abendwind or Buy a kidney – pay in cash
or Buy a kidney – pay in cash

* abgespielt

Based  very loosely on the work of Johann Nepomuk Nestroy
Justus Neumann comes to Vienna for the last time!

Australia has been almost completely burned to the ground.
Thanks to his Austrian passport, Justus Neumann, who was almost lost to the inferno, returns to his home town of Vienna by boat. Unexpectedly, he has suddenly become a climate change refugee.
The Nestroy Society feels honour-bound to do something for the penniless Justus. It invites him to present the carnival farce “Häuptling Abendwind”. The piece is set among cannibals on an undiscovered island in the Tasmanian sea.
Justus has very little time to prepare for his performance. He has temporarily accommodation at Traiskirchen. Here he soon makes a doll, with the help of which he sets himself the absolutely impossible task of managing a complete Nestroy piece by himself…
Tragedy and comedy combine, as Nestroy’s texts merge with his own fate, The young Julius Schwing will accompany Justus Neumann on his electric guitar. His hard rock edge, with sounds ranging from Steve Vai to Jimmy Hendrix, should bring a bold, modern sound to Nestroy’s couplets.
