Living gratefully
A project by the Vienna Boys' Choir and Brother David Steindl-Rast ODB, in collaboration with the European Dankbar leben network and MuTh

Music and gratefulness move men’s hearts and bind them together.

These are the languages of the heart. They are universally understood; they know no borders. They bring life and strength, and they build bridges for peace across the world.
Singing is part of the joy of living and the purpose of life, and the Vienna Boys’ Choir serve as global envoys in this cause.

Living gratefully is the key to vitality and joy. Brother David Steindl-Rast is an internationally recognised ambassador of this principle, both as an attitude to life and as a practice to follow.

Singing frees the heart. Living gratefully brings happiness.

At this wonderful event on Thursday 15th May, these envoys of music will come together with the ambassador of gratefulness to sing and share their joy with you.

Brother David Steindl-Rast is a Benedictine monk, a globally recognised spiritual teacher and a best-selling author. He has spent decades campaigning for inter-religious dialogue and world peace. His spirituality of gratefulness, which can best be described as “vitality”, is rooted in Christian mysticism and inspired by Buddhist teachings.
