Mozart and Ravel
Christian Altenburger in the MuTh
* abgespielt
Both Mozart and Ravel completely mastered the skill of bringing out the individual sound characteristics of different instruments. This evening therefore promises a broad spectrum of rich tonal colours. The clear, silvery notes of the flute, the warm, velvet tone of Matthias Schorn’s clarinet, the impressionistic sounds of the music of Maurice Ravel — the programme itself hints at the lavish colours it contains.
