Nocturnes by Franz Schubert, Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály

* abgespielt

Chorus Viennensis, together with the sought-after pianist and Liszt specialist Eduard Kutrowatz, presents a romantic programme including works by Franz Schubert, Zoltán Kodály and Béla Bartók. These nocturnes feature strongly in the male voice choir literature, and are interpreted here by the voices of former Vienna Boys’ Choir choristers and the magical, sensitive playing of Eduard Kutrowatz. They reveal a special charm, taking the audience on a journey from Biedermeier’s dreamlike Vienna, across Lake Balaton, to Székely in the east of Hungary.

An evening of musical indulgence and dreaming, with Eduard Kutrowatz and Chorus Viennensis.

Tickets: €28/22/16, box seats €34, wheelchair users €15.
