The composer who dreamed of travel: Antonín Dvořák
A concert of chamber music, hosted by a presenter, with the Vienna Philharmonic.

A production by the Vienna Philharmonic’s “passwort:klassik” musical education programme and MuTh
Antonín Dvorák was a perfectly ordinary boy. He played by the streams near the Vltava river, built dams, caught frogs in a clay jug, and helped out at his father’s guest house. At the age of thirteen he was apprenticed to become a butcher and innkeeper. But he preferred playing his fiddle for the guests. He learned to play the organ, and one day it dawned on him: mine is the world of notes and sounds! In concert with wind players from the Vienna Philharmonic, we get to know his wonderful music.
