The imaginary invalid
by Molière / A Vienna Kindertheater production

* abgespielt

Suffering is as old as humanity itself: and so is hypochondria!
This year the Wiener Kindertheater Ensemble brings Molière’s last, and possibly his most famous work to MuTh: “The Imaginary Invalid”. And they are collaborating for the very first time with the Ballet Academy at the Wiener Staatsoper! There are roughly 100 children and young people from the Wiener Kindertheater, and they take to the stage in constantly changing permutations. Guided by artists and drama teachers from a number of countries, they have been working on the issues raised by this piece for a full semester, and asking themselves the question, “What has changed in the 343 years since the play was first performed?”

Children and young people from the Wiener Kindertheater, with Eleven from the Ballet Academy at the Wiener Staatsoper, directed by Sylvia Rotter.
