The Messiah
Oratorio by George Frideric Handel

* abgespielt

George Frideric Handel’s oratorio “The Messiah” is without doubt one of the greatest works in musical literature. Composed over just 24 days in 1741, it tells the Christian salvation story in three parts. These cover the Annunciation, the Nativity, the Passion, the Resurrection and Salvation.

The virtuoso soloists and the Ensemble Tientos, supported by the Schloßchor Hadersfeld choir, offer an interpretation which follows Baroque performance practices.
