Vato Jordania
Bösendorfer Prizewinners' Concert

* abgespielt

Vato Jordania was born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1986. He was just eight years old when he gave his first orchestral recital. Although his career as a virtuoso pianist is comparatively young, it has been very closely followed, and he has already won prizes in numerous international competitions. These include the Bösendorfer Piano Competiton , which he won in November 2011 with Beethoven’s Fifth Piano Concerto, and the 14th Beethoven International Piano Competition, held in Vienna in June 2013, in which he took fourth prize. Still a young pianist, Vato Jordania’s phenomonal technique is matched with great musical sensitivity and a rich tonality. At this concert you will hear how he uses his skill at the Bösendorfer grand piano to touch the audience and create moments of pure magic in the magnificent surroundings of MuTh’s Concert Hall.

Proceeds from this concert are supporting the production of a CD by Vato Jordania . Once the CD is complete, every concertgoer will receive a free copy as a gesture of thanks.
