Vesko Stambolov and Ensemble

Vesko Stambolov is one of Bulgaria’s most important pianists. He performs as a soloist with all the major symphony orchestras and chamber music orchestras in his country, and appears at the best-known festivals in Bulgaria. He studied at the Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music.
Vesko Stambolov has won numerous national and international prizes, including the “Sergei Rachmaninov”, the “Viennese Classics”, the “Albert Roussel” (Grand Prix), the “M. Casals” (Barcelona – medal), the “Chopin” (Varna) as well as the Special Prize of the Paris Chopin Society. He has also won other prizes as a chamber musician and as a vocal accompanist.
