Without words
Bartolomeys in the MuTh

* abgespielt

An evening that will leave the listener speechless, in the proper sense of the word.

From child refugee to concert pianist: a favourite of Austrian audiences, Ursula Strauss reads from a true story of survival, love and music. “Hold on tight to your music. It will be your best friend, throughout your life“, said the mother to her 14-year-old daughter, a pianist and a child prodigy, as she followed the Kindertransport route from Vienna to Great Britain. A counterpoint to the words is provided by songs from the High Romantic period penned by Schubert, Schumann and Brahms. Here they are performed without words, in the arrangements for cello and piano.
