It was back in 2020 when Tanja Glinsner won the Ö1 Talentebörse composition award. Now, after several delays, the piece that was commissioned under the award finally sees the light of day. “Chrysomeles”, tells the story of the ram from the Greek myth of the Golden Fleece. Afterwards, Philharmonic Five perform a pleasing soundtrack of wonders from the world of film music along with much-loved classical favourites. Music from Mozart to Bernstein – played in a Big-Band style by a piano quintet! it sounds like “Mission Impossible” – but not for the Philharmonic Five!
