The History of MuTh

On this our tenth birthday, we invite visitors to discover the story of MuTh. A series of information points located throughout the venue trace the history of MuTh: the initial planning and the grand opening, the successes and high points of the first ten years, and even a glimpse into the future. The whole concept was imagined and created by the team here at MuTh.

In the Boardroom

In the Boardroom Elke Hesse joins several artists – all long-standing MuTh collaborators – to discuss alternative concert formats, communicating with a modern audience, and the challenges facing performance venues today. Golden Tickets

At 5pm, during the finale of this celebratory day, all visitors attending the event can take part in a raffle for 10 Golden MuTh Tickets. A Golden Ticket will entitle you to free admission for all MuTh productions* until the end of the 2022/23 season.

*Valid for one person only. Valid for all events organised by MuTh until 30 June 2023. Not transferable. This prize cannot be exchanged for cash.

At 6pm we welcome our MuTh Club members and invited guests to our MuTh history event, followed by our evening event. This starts at 7:30, and features a concert with the Vienna Boys Choir and the Audience Orchestra, plus a film screening. By invitation only.
