In this concert, the NFMO heads off to the Oscars:
We’ve scoured the world to bring you snapshots of famous film locations and movie sets. We are delighted to perform film music for you that has made countless cinema-goers laugh, cry, marvel, quiver with fear, and swing along in their seats.
We travel with Winnetou to the Wild West, fly into the infinite reaches of the universe with Star Wars, laugh with the gendarmes of Saint-Tropez, weep aboard the Titanic, search for The Third Man in Vienna, and nearly jump out of our skins at Hitchcock’s famous shower scene.
We’ll stop off at lots of other cinematic locations on our journey, all of them connected by wonderful music. Come along and enjoy – there’ll be a few surprises!
