AUFTAKT! – YOUNG CONDUCTORS FROM THE MUK

The MUK’s degree course in orchestral conducting closes with a concert which not only presents the young maestri to the public, but also subjects them to the critical scrutiny of a professional jury. In this year’s MUK.finals, we see three emerging performers stand at the conductor’s desk, taking their  final examinations in public: Amedeo Ara, Sena Park, and Luis Prades Rubias.
Together with the Tonkünstler Orchestra of Lower Austria, which actively supports the development of young musical talent, the students of the conducting class of Andreas Stoehr perform major orchestral compositions by Ludwig van Beethoven and Manuel de Falla.
