BAFF: HEAVY BLOSMURL

BAFF is a musical group with its roots in the Weinviertel region. The band comprises seven musicians. Over ten years ago they decided they would play brass music of a very particular kind. For their concert at MuTh, the five brass players, drummer and bassist are joined by a singer. The musicians describe their unconventional sound very simply as “heavy blosmurl”. And you can hear that style in their performances of songs like “Valerie”, “An Spritza”, “Everytime”, “Fiesta”, “Hip Teens”, “I’m a Believer”, “Knock on Wood” and “Fürstenfeld”. For 48 years, the Vienna Marc Aurel Lions Club has been providing rapid, bureaucracy-free help to those in need. By attending this concert, you will be supporting the volunteer members of the Lions Club Wien Marc Aurel in their wide range of activities. Donations made will mostly be used to support: • Holidays for children: 25 disadvantaged children will go on holiday in Austria for two weeks • Horse riding therapy for children – supporting the Children’s Social Centre in Hinterbrühl with therapy horses, riding gear, etc. • Individual support: personal, swift, free of red tape.
