NFMO is turning 75
Operetta melodies by Johann Strauss, Emmerich Kálmán and Franz Lehar are part of the regular repertoire of the New Favoritner Mandolin Orchestra. The long-established orchestra is celebrating its 75th anniversary with this concert and is striving to offer a special program. This includes compositions that have been dedicated to the orchestra during its many years of activity, such as “Mein Favoriten” (My Favourites) by Ernst Mifka. You can also look forward to vocal performances by our guests Katharina Jing An Gebauer and Alexander Mutafchiyski, a surprise, and entertaining moderation by Victor Kautsch. Eduard Papazoff is musical director for the concert.
