VIENNA MUSIC SCHOOLS PRESENT GUDESMAN’S “CARNIVAL OF MERRY ANIMALS”

On Sunday, 17 December 2023, two very special concerts will make their global debut at Das MuTh in Vienna. Aleksey Igudesman conducts the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Music Schools of the City of Vienna for the first time. Igudesman brings his own personal and unmistakable touch to the programme, which is on the theme of “Igudesman’s Carnival of Funny Animals”. The programme seamlessly incorporates not only exceptional musical performances but also integrates other arts such as dance and drama at the highest level.  It’s all about making music together, creativity, joy and fun and perhaps even the occasional surprise. Through this initiative, the music schools are pioneering innovative approaches, providing a glimpse into future perspectives in music education.
