DUO MOSER – ALTENBURGER
Next Generation
Chamber music | Classic | Concert | Adults
Two highly promising young musicians from Austria have forged a new musical partnership: the “Duo Moser – Altenburger”.
Mio Moser was born in 2009. He is presently studying at the mdw with Prof. Christopher Hinterhuber. Despite his youth, he is very much at home with both the solo and chamber music repertoire. He has already gained substantial concert experience, including performances at New York’s Carnegie Hall and the Musikverein in Vienna. Nicolas Altenburger was born in 2011. He studies at the mdw under Prof. Reinhard Latzko. In the current season Nicolas has already performed at the Ehrbar Saal, in the Glass Chamber at the Vienna Musikverein, and at the Wiener Konzerthaus. Recently he and Mio Moser were joint guests at the music salon hosted by Wilhelm Sincovicz.
This appearance at Das MuTh has given these two young artists their first opportunity to develop a complete evening of music. With works ranging from Bach to Martinu, they have assembled a programme of considerable stylistic breadth, and will perform solo pieces and duets for their Vienna audience.
