FRIDAY AFTERNOON

Led by their choirmaster, 24 boys in sailor suits sing in concert. Why are they known and loved by people all over the world? Because they remind us that music is the universal language of human emotion, a language which knows no national boundaries. Over the course of eleven Fridays, the world-famous Vienna Boys Choir show off their talents. With youthful energy and charm, they lead their audience on a journey through musical history, taking in not just Mozart, Schubert and Strauss, but World Music and Pop as well. And along the way we’ll no doubt hear a few stories from their history, which stretches back over more than 525 years!
