GUTE HIRTEN – GOOD SHEPHERDS

Shepherds play an important role in the Christmas story. Of all people, it is the “ordinary folk” who are first to hear of Jesus’ birth. The shepherds stand for all of us; everyone can and should identify with them.

Our Good Shepherds concerts are a well-established tradition at Das MuTh. In these Vienna Boys Choir’s Christmas concerts, the various campus choirs can be heard performing a cappella and with orchestral backing, singing songs and motets which embody the Christmas mood.

Of course, the audience gets its turn too. Anyone who wants can sing along with one or two Christmas favourites. And that’s how a concert becomes a musical celebration for the whole family.
