INDIE JAZZ AND POP “MIT RISSEN”

Solo/ duo/ trio: Helmut Jasbar, the guitarist and ö1 radio presenter, presents his latest project. Here, “you promised me poems” – which is the name of the duo he has just formed with the remarkable Lisa Hofmaninger – teams up with Anna Anderluh, who is surely one of the most exciting singers of her generation. Their musical mood swings from deep compassion to dark humour, and ranges from simple, delicate songs to experimental vocal improvisations. The evening starts with solo guitar from Jasbar before Lisa Hofmaninger joins him on stage for a musical conversation. After the interval the band becomes a trio, and performs songs by Anna Anderluh, Bon Iver and others.

Before the concert, you are invited to the MuTh Poetry Competition. Those who submit poems for the competition (by the closing date of SUNDAY 26th FEBRUARY 2023) will qualify for discounted tickets to the concert.
