With sound artist Isabella Forciniti and trombonist Matthias Muche, Studio Dan brings to the stage two of the most exciting voices currently active on the European creative scene. Together, they explore the dynamics of diverse artistic practices, social systems and musical concepts.

The ancient and powerful voice of the trombone meets the digital complexity of the computer; solo and ensemble join together; lines of sound delicately fork and divide, while the bass thumps…

At the core of this evening lies a musical experiment about being together. How does the ensemble – a finely balanced, organically grown “biotope”, developed over many years – react to impulsive interventions from outside? And conversely: what strength do the disruptors draw from the collective?

In the space of just under an hour, we race through the highlights of the upcoming programme, allowing our visitors to actively engage in this unique listening experience from within the ensemble itself. Start: 18:15 (free of charge).

Biglietto sospeso – the Soli-ticket

Inspired by the wonderful Neapolitan tradition of caffè sospeso, in which the buyer of a cup of coffee pays, in solidarity, for the cup of an unknown fellow customer in a gesture of solidarity, we present the Biglietto sospeso for the concerts in the YOU BETTER LISTEN! series. It’s essentially a one-for-two deal!
