We Wish You a Merry Christmas!

With its familiar rituals – wrapping the presents, singing Adeste Fideles and Joy to the World – Christmas certainly means a lot to us all. In this concert, we head off on a Christmas Sleigh Ride, to the sound of Tonight the Stars Shine For the Children and Jingle Bells. And there’s something for you too, from the grown-ups’ Christmas List!  It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year – Because it’s Christmas! Or, in the words of Jamie Callum: Christmas Never Gets Old.

With their renditions of these songs and many more, the Joe Hofbauer Big Band wish us Happy Holiday, and lead us off into a Winter Wonderland. Even when we hear Baby, It’s Cold Outside, and icicles form on the carrot-nose of Frosty the Snowman, the sound of Swing always keeps us warm. So let’s all join in the same wish: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas . . .
