CONCERT SERIES: “ESTORIE”

Szlonok Symphony Orchestra

Orchestral music | Classic | Concert | Adults

A selection of talented young artists make this “Estorie” concert a memorable experience. South Korean pianist Kay Kyungeun Kim tackles Sergei Rachmaninov’s Second Piano Concerto, one of the greatest pieces of the Late Romantic. We can also look forward to an enthralling performance from the young Polish cellist Michal Balas, performing “Musical Pilgrimage“, a cello concerto by Ukrainian composer Alexey Shor. As a finale, we are treated to one of the greatest symphonies: Tchaikovsky’s Fifth, performed by the Szlonok Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of maestro Nikolay Lalov.

ALEXEY SHOR Cello-Konzert „Musical Pilgrimage“, SERGEI RACHMANINOW Klavierkonzert c-Moll op. 18, PJOTR ILJITSCH TSCHAIKOWSKY Symphonie Nr. 5 e-Moll op. 64
