KULTURMITTAG (ARTS AT LUNCHTIME)

The wind quintet Vienta combines Viennese sound culture with worldwide melodies. The young ensemble celebrates its debut at the lunchtime concert series with a musical journey from Hungarian dances to American rhythms. Vienta combines rarely performed works with classics of the repertoire. Ligeti’s bagatelles are juxtaposed with Klezmer and jazz – each piece carefully selected for its unique story.
