MUK/tanzt/juniors

MUK/tanzt/juniors presents a highly varied programme performed by students from the new Pre-College Dance Course and Preparatory Course in Dance at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna. The pieces featured were all developed as part of the various dance disciplines taught, which include classical dance and improvisation; contemporary dance; house dance; historical dance; character dance; acrobatic dance; and rhythmic dance. The event gives the audience a glimpse into the breadth of the dance training provided at MUK.

The teachers on the two courses – Farah Deen, Margit Legler, Lucian Necsea, Milka Pajukallio, Wieda Shirzadeh-Kepi, Nina Swoboda, Vera-Viktoria Szirmay, Marijke Wagner – develop the pieces of MUK/tanzt/juniors together with the young dancers.
