The Turkish National Youth Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 2007 by Cem Mansur with the support of the Sabancı Foundation. Its members, aged between 15 and 22, are drawn from various Turkish conservatories. The orchestra has performed in leading European concert halls such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Wiener Konzerthaus, and the Brucknerhaus Linz, and has accompanied soloists such as Murray Perahia and Alice Sara Ott.
Under the baton of Cem Mansur, the orchestra plays a varied program ranging from Britten to Grieg and Beethoven to Essen and performs with solo pianist İlyun Bürkev.
The award-winning musician trained at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and has impressed audiences with her international competition successes, combining technical brilliance with musical depth in her playing.
