Right on cue, the traditional Schubert Festival Wien concert presents Mendelssohn’s “The First Walpurgis Night”, which was based on a ballad by Goethe, along with Schubert Orchestral Songs on the theme of “Gothic Romanticism”. The 2019 ARD prize-winner, Natalya Boeva, makes her Vienna debut.
